Matt42
2 hour drive from Glastonbury to Wembley, he could stay the night, bring the kids on the thursday... Roll on stage with dizzie on friday, party the night. Then face a 2 hour drive up to wembley the day after. Easy peasy, get your robbie on he's playing! Matt42
think he thought the guy was calling Dizzee a 'talentless gurning chimp', when actually i think he was referring to Robbie..?

General Lee
Ah good, because I think referring to Dizzie as "Chimp" may be a little bit offensive haha Edited May 24, 2013 by General Lee
Matt42
To play a massive show at Wembley the next day. I find it doubtful
fatyeti24
Dizzee does gurn though. and whatever talent he had, he stopped using it many years ago. his recent and new stuff is Guetta-esque cheese without a hint of the originality that used to seemingly come so easily to him. i watched part of his set today and it was weak, just rapping over his own records, not even just the backing track but over his own vocals. still, the kids were lapping that shit up, so what do i know! sisco
It's not the song. It's the travelling in between. The late night of early morning before the show etc.... Is it worth the hassle for RW for like u say, 1 song

sisco
<p> I can't be bothered to write a long paragraph because i'm tired so i'm gonna use bullet points not in a sense of being blunt, these are my counter arguments to that. Glastonbury could be a stop in between him arriving to wembley. Dizzie will be on around 8pm - 9:30pm tops!Glastonbury is a big name! It can pull anyone for any sort of slot, I can imagine if he's willing to go to Ireland for Radio One's big weekend he can drive abit to glasto.Robbie Williams would definitely be up for a glasto peformance if anything, I think he's acknowledged he will never be asked to headline. He could treat it as a warm up for Wembley. Common sense that the stones are gonna have guests, ones that aren't even performing To be asked to play the pyramid stage at glastonbury is a big thing to some people! fatyeti24
I watched his set and it got me really excited for glasto, I guess I count as a 'kid'

Matt42
Sorry don't know where to put this so Il put it here. Ellie goulding held a twitcam or whatever last week, and someone asked her about glastonbury. Her response was something close to this... "I'd love to play, but I was never asked, not even mentioned". One of her management then said something to her quite unadible it was hard to pick up, and she then said. "They must not be a fan, I'm a little pissed off to be honest".
