I HAVE peed into a pint glass at a Foo Fighters concert, in pure desperation because I couldn't get out of the crowd, and it was put onto the floor - and no-one around me could even see what I was doing (was covered by a jacket around my waist).

Hopefully Thurs for line up. I've been saying this for weeks!

I'm more than a little bit pissed off about it now. I think it's completely ridiculous that they still haven't released the full line-up.

i love the story of that Daphne and Celeste show - begged their manager to get on the lineup because they wanted to meet Eminem. Eminem pulls out, and they're put on the 'heavy' day before Rage Against The Machine, Slipknot etc. they never stood a chance

Beat hotel tweeted that it's 28 days till glasto and just a matter of days until the beat hotel release their line up.

I assume this ties in with the release of the full line up. All seems to be pointing to Thursday!! (or maybe friday)

Why? I can promise you we won't get the full lineup on Thursday, the full lineup is never released in one go, and chances are, we'll not get the "full" lineup till the day before the festival or at least the week. It's always been the way.

While I don't condone piss throwing, I was at that Leeds gig and found it funny simply because I was fuming they was on in the first place... and no, I didn't throw piss. To further add, I've had a full pint of piss land on my head, wasn't amused but what can you do?

You paid for 3 tickets in full 9 months ago? Really? Or did you pay for 3 deposits 9 months ago and the full balance after finding out the majority of the line up with the option of cancelling your ticket up until 4 weeks ago?

Most of the big ticket bands have been announced, I wouldn't go into the Thursday expecting anything groundbreaking so not sure why it would be such a massive deal? Thats not to say I'm not looking forward to finding out the whole line up but the words of Mike99....patience

it's funny how things change over the years. now, even if you have never ever attended the festival, you can pretty much know in advance who is on, where they are on, where everything is, what to see and do, where to camp, which food to try, which bars to drink in, how long it takes to walk somewhere. you can know just about everything, bar some of the line up.

this is obviously good and useful info for many people, but it couldn't be further from how it was pre-internet!

i hope the rest of the line up comes out soon, for those to whom it is important.

Oh good here we go, people getting sanctimonious because for some they enjoy the music/mainstages the most and to make the most of whats on offer they might want to pre-plan a little.

How very dare they they want to know the lineup! When they might expect as much information as a previous year!

(Also the difference between how it used to be turning up and not knowing who is on and now and wanting to know, could be the price difference )

That wasn't really the point I was making though but I understand that. I can also understand that people who've only been to festivals with a handful of stages might find it a bit strange, but there were 85 stages in 2011. Imagine trying to control that centrally and ensuring that each stage releases a full lineup on the same day.

A local festival has postponed their lineup announcement until tomorrow due to unforeseen reasons, perhaps glasto are announcing tonight and dont want them to steal their thunder?
