Sold out, Full Line Up Due Soon?

The line up just now is rather thin i think most will agree.

We've had the vast majority on main stages,

24 normally play the pyramid, which means we have 4 more PYRAMID acts to be announced, which means 4 more acts with a following!

27 normally play the other stage which means we have 8 more other stage bands to be announced. (7 excluding Noah and the Whale).

27 also normally play west holts, which means 5 more for west holts.

30 is normal for John peel which means 9 more for John peel.

I'm not doing this for all the stages but so far in total there are 26 popular bands ready to be announced. Along with the fact that i've only mentioned four stages and that silver hayes only has 20% of it's lineup out!

I don't give a poo about the line up, I am going to Glastonbury, with my hubby, without my kids, and they have music and food , happy happy happy. And so far there are plenty of bands I am desperate to see. Alls good for me <3

Having waited 2 years we're now so close you can almost smell the longdrops, I can't understand why people wouldn't be too excited to care about the rest of the lineup.

It's no different to previous years. why are you pissed off, it's not as if they have an obligation to tell you everything, they're busy people and it's not your own personal festival. I'm not bothered, it's not as if you can put your bleeding towel on a deckchair. Is that what you want? Tell me what ACTUAL difference it makes to your preparations. Hardly any, if any at all. I bet you were the sort of kid who went looking for your Christmas presents and opened the corners then had no surprises on the day. Enjoy the mystery.

I doubt if we applied Glastonburys some what wishy washy methods to other elements of life people would be that impressed.

Line up wise i doubt it will be worth the tension and intrigue. Id like to be proved wrong but I don't think I will be

I think, more than anything else on this forum, I hate the smug people who claim the line-up doesn't matter to them and would prefer to not know till they get there. I don't want to enjoy the mystery, thanks, I want to know what clashes are going to happen so I don't waste time getting into a band I won't get to see anyway. I'd like to know that if the weather is shit I won't have a miserable time struggling to find a band to watch, I want to know what I've paid for, a few weeks beforehand. I'm not annoyed with the organisers, I expect Hop Farm has had an effect on things. But my God, save me the smug people. We get you love the festival, so do I, you don't win because you don't want to know who's playing you know, Eavis isn't going to give you a medal.

Calm down kids, it's not really that important either way.

OK it would be nice to get the info sooner rather than later to plan a little but it must be a logistical nightmare trying to arrange over 100 stages and thousands of artists.

I've been waiting for the announcement for the Stone Roses support acts since last October too. They only had 3 other acts and they've only officially announced this week.

Arguing over it isn't going to make the info come any sooner.

Just relax and it will come when it's ready. Crying and stamping your feet won't actually make any difference.

We aren't going to know any of the times yet anyway. Glastonbury have already said they're going to do it around the same point as last time which was June 13th.
