Mark All As Read

There seems to be an issue when using the app or mobile site on both my Samsung S2 and Nexus 7.

When I go into the little blue/white square icon up the top right of screen, and mark all as read, the blue quote marks next to all the forum names stays dark blue and you can't tell what forums have been read until clicking into the actual forum when you can see the individual topics have been read.

On the laptop, using mark all as read at the bottom of the screen works fine.

I have tried deleting all cookies and temp files from both mobile devices, but the issue remains. It's as if it is actually marking the topics as read, but the main icon next to say V Festival remains as unread if you know what I mean.

Mine's the same and I'm on a HTC. I actually came on here to post about it.

I've just had a quick look, and I can't find any obvious reason why it's happening - tho I did find I'd got the wrong icon set attached to the skin, so i've changed that to what it should be.

I'll look into this further later, and raise a ticket with the software makers if that becomes necessary.

Think this issue am seeing is related in somehow to it now am seeing this below

I took a while to understand what you were meaning there Paul ... but I think that's just a graphic that's missing from the graphics set that I applied to the mobile skin the other day (as mentioned in my post above).

I'll take a look at that if/when I get the 'mark as read' icons issue sorted.

I've just sorted the missing icons.

I'll have a dig around now and see if I can see why the forums icons aren't different for read/unread forums.

FYI: the mobile skin has been reverted to the default mobile skin for the moment, so that the software makers can look into what the problem is.

right, I've pinned down what's causing the problems - the 'social groups' add-on that was installed last week (I said it was buggy ) - whether it can be fixed or not I'm not sure right now.

I've discovered that the author of the social groups add-on has been aware of this bug since last summer, and he said he'd fix it in a later update ... but the last update to the groups software was in February but it wasn't within that update.

I've just brought the issue to his attention again, so fingers crossed it gets sorted soon-ish.

I've had a hunt around to see if there's an easy solution so I can make the necessary changes, but I'm too scared of breaking everything if I try doing that.

For the moment the add-on has been disabled, and so the fault with the mobile skin has gone away for now.

Yup its all back as it was for me on both.
