Personally I think they are great, definitely big enough to headline in the reading and leeds/T in the park category but I still think theres abit more needed yet for a pyramid headline.

If they have another UK number 1 do you think it would justify?

Biffy are a bit too far in the 'lame Kerrang rock' band category to headline Glastonbury. a perfect Reading/Leeds/T headliner, but not for the Pyramid. they could possibly do it in the future but i couldn't see anybody getting vaguely excited about it

yeah, there definitely seems to have been a cooling off between the festival and Frank Turner over the last couple of years. It's suprising and a little bit disappointing

I would like the bbc symphony to do the best of john williams as well on a sunny afternoon. Bit of star wars, bit of indy etc would set me up nicely for the day. David Arnold would do at a pinch.

Speaking of davids related to film scores, where has David Holmes been lately. Wouldn't mind a dj set by him either. This isn't relevant to this thread though as he isn't someone that wouldn't be booked.

He's said a few times before that he's offered to play and the festival don't want him. I can only recall him playing in 2010.

hehehe, I'm not a huge fan of Frank Turner, he's got 3 or 4 decent songs, but you're right, I was going to add a disclaimer that any festival booked (not fucking 'curated') by me would be equally appalling, just in a different direction.
