In less than four weeks the monster Highland bash that is RockNess will be kicking off the summer festival season in blistering style! The countdown is well and truly on, and just to raise excitement levels even further, heaps more top drawer acts are announced today, including some of the most hotly tipped artists for 2013. First up…

FENECH-SOLER have had seriously big compliments put their way…and with good reason. “A band on the verge of very big things indeed” (Sunday Times), “Fenech-Soler are heading skyward” (MixMag), “the lovechild of Delphic and Daft Punk” (Grazia), “the future of white dancefloor-scorching electro funk” (Time Out), “dancing to the sound of a very different beat” (NME). It goes on…Now with long awaited album number two in the bag, a dripfeed of tasty teasers marking the countdown to its release has commenced, including a set at Space in Ibiza and an Annie Mac mini mix. FENECH-SOLER are hitting the road again and we are super excited to announce their welcome return to RockNess.

LONDON GRAMMAR make the kind of stunning soul drenched, chill-out-esque pop music to lift your heart. Hannah Reid’s awe inspiring vocals, whilst reminiscent of a certain Miss Welch, run a fine line between brittle fragility and show stopping diva, whilst musically LONDON GRAMMAR’s melodies are as meltingly beautiful as anything you are likely to hear this year. HERNAN CATTANEO stands as one of electronic music’s ambassadors of the highest pedigree. From Cream to Ministry of Sound, Digweed’s Bedrock to Hacienda Records, to the aptly named Masters and Renaissance series four times over, the Argentinian’s ability to weave melody and lush grooves whether in the studio, across the airwaves of his weekly Buenos Aires-based DELTA FM 90.3 show or commanding crowds at festivals such as Coachella, Exit and Creamfields garner the greatest respect.

So the Goldenvoice on the friday... how's that going to work? I imagine, from the poster, that all the DJs will be playing back to back? If that's the case then surely The Maccabees (+ Jessie Ware) will be a sort of "early headliner" and will play before all the DJs? Not really sure... I hope that's the case as I'm planning on seeing all of the DJs in the Goldenvoice that day.

Saw example in 2011 and he was decent.. not sure if I would go and see him headline though, will probably head off and see someone else.

How long have Monsta been on the lineup? They're not on the confirmed artists page on the website and I can't remember ever seeing them announced.

I think its the same for Benjamin Francis leftwich don't remeber seeing him in any announcements apart from posters.
