Morning all, thought this thread could be helpful to post links to deals.

I'll start, this site is great for tents and equipment, bought a 4 man tent off here last year and it was brilliant.

I've just bought a new airbed (taking to Glasto, not needed for KC this year) from http://www.only-airbeds.co.uk/ (kingsize Intex) for £29.64 inc delivery.

The same airbed from the same suppier is available on Amazon for £36.93...shows the worth of shopping around.

Have been beefing up my camping gear over the last weeks but I`m afraid links are way too technical for me.

Have got pillows from ikea £1.30 that come rolled up in a pack so easy to carry. Just burst them open when your in tent. At my stage in the game a rolled up jacket just doesn`t cut it.

A 35L rucksack thing from sports direct. 50% off making it £22.99. Loads of space and zip pockets plus waterproof cover on the off chance it rains this summer.

A self inflating mat from Halfords 1/3 off at £14. Only tried it in the kitchen but pretty comfy.

Also picked up a ground sheet and spare pegs in Poundland.

Sadly our summer plans have been tweaked and won`t be at Kendal this year now. Jacko - it`s been pissing down up here since January.......a sure sign of a dry summer

Oh and Coors Lights were £6 for 12 at Morrisons but they won`t see the summer. Likewise ASDA 20 strongbow £11.

I am taking a more relaxed approached this year and trying not to worry about weather.

Found a good deal on a tent, halford been shown on TV. Looks decent

You can never go wrong with a Vango....3000 HH will do more than enough and looks a decent price.

Try having a look at a guy on ebay "tentsparesman"...you can get some absolute bargains from him

Got a camping chair with the drinks holder thing and in a carry bag for £3.60 in Tesco today ( reduced from £7 ).

I hear that if you fold the legs in slowly around 3 cans of cider then, with practice, you can squeeze the whole think back into the bag and sling it over your shoulder

Just got it for £51.99 inc delivery this morning but now back to £71.99

Had one last year and its a brilliant tent and 3000 HH which means its very resilient to rain.

Is it easy to put up?? Watching me putting up a tent is like watching an octopus screw a transformer.

You can't stand upright in it though. For me that makes all the difference. Got a one, a Lichfield Creek 4-Man, around the same price at Halfords. Being able to stand upright is tent heaven.

Amazon have a few in the £50-£100 price range, e.g. Gelert Atlantis, but plenty of others.
