dave1234
hello. sorry if this has been done before but i just wanted to ask a few questions as me and 3 of my friends are going to v fest in stafford for the 1st time. its the 1st time to a festival for all of us actually! i wanted to ask: is there any limitations on tent size? do you pick which camp site upon arrival or is it predetermined? can you and if yes how much beer can you take in to the camp site and arena? are there showers and if yes are they open all night? (id go for a shower at about 3 or 4 am to avoid ques lol) there are probably a lot more things but cant think of them now! thanks for replies guys!! daniel.k
Have a look on the V festival Website, that should answer most of your questions. Or people on here can just all tell you, but I dont know how long that would take. The ones I think i know is Within reason there isnt really any restriction on size, as long as there are enough people in it. You cant take glass bottles in, but I dont know about cans and stuff, guess you'll be able to have them. Dont know if theres a limit Yes theres showers but I dont know if they close at a certain time Hope that starts the help, everyone else is friendly enough here just dont slag off their fave band I've never been to V before, its my first year this year but im going to Chelmsford
Rose-Colored Boy
At Staffs you pick your own campsite - although of course the later you arrive, the less choice you have.
AiiShotTheDJ
hello. sorry if this has been done before but i just wanted to ask a few questions as me and 3 of my friends are going to v fest in stafford for the 1st time. its the 1st time to a festival for all of us actually! i wanted to ask: is there any limitations on tent size? not per say but you might find a big one difficult to pitch if you arrive later in the day do you pick which camp site upon arrival or is it predetermined? yes, at Weston you pick, Hylands you don't, but red and blue fill up pretty quick. In saying that, red has turned in to a horrible area to camp due to change in 'clientelle' but it is nearest the arena can you and if yes how much beer can you take in to the camp site and arena? You can take as much beer as you can carry (I've seen people with a trolley filled to the top) in to the campsite- it's banned in the arena and you have to buy your own although there are 'tricks' around that such as strapping a wine bag to your body and making sure you go through a gate with a male attendant if you're female because they can't pat you down - inside the arena, you have limited alcohol choices for around £4.20 per bottle/pint if memory serves correct (that's everything from a mini bottle of wine and smirnoff ice to a pint of Carling are there showers and if yes are they open all night? (id go for a shower at about 3 or 4 am to avoid ques lol) - there are showers but they're pretty grim, people crap in them and all sorts but you may get lucky and get a decent shower late at night or really early in the morning but go to a quieter shower area and try your luck there. You're better off getting a 5L water carrier and washing your hair by the fence with instead there are probably a lot more things but cant think of them now! thanks for replies guys!!
