So they wouldnt win an anti-popularity contest or being able to book heavier acts. If they wanted I think they could do it, but its not in their interest i guess

Really? There was constant updates on channel 4 and 4music, TITP is no way as big as V.

I personally hope Bestival gets bigger, it's incredible that a small festival can get those exclusives, I've got a feeling they might be the first festival to book Kylie

Regular 'updates' on a channel which sees hitting 2m viewers in primetime as an achievement, or being splashed all over the BBC for a weekend, I know which I'd prefer

Also lets not forget that Glasto booked Kylie, she may not have played but they still booked her

TITP gets far more publicity as its on BBC the fact it is constantly on bbc over the whole weekend of it gives it massive commercial value, obviously being in Scotland there is far more coverage for it up here but the only other festival iv ever seen advertised up here is glasto and 5 million people is a massive market solely being fed titp info

What do you think of this years line up. David Guetta and Calvin Harris headlining, its looking alot like Creamfields mixed with V. What point are you making with saying their line up has been good. I think it was to do with T sharing acts with them or something but now its different weekend so they arent sharing
