Much room on the Thursday

I went to Download last year and watched people struggling to find somewhere to camp on the Thursday/Friday (we went on the wednesday when there was loads of room). I was wondering do they open extra campsites or is it just pot luck?

Depends how many people bother turning up on Wednesday. If theres still space in the fields that opened on Wednesday then they'll wait til those are full before opening any more. I'm arriving at around 8am on Thursday so shouldnt be too much of a hassle finding a space.

We will be arriving about 2-3pm. Alot of people turned up Wednesday last year we got there early and was loads of room but by tea time it was really busy. Hopefully we won't have too much trouble. Need a little bit of space just for bbq's and stuff don't need a msssive amount.

Last year sold really well which is probably why it was so busy on Wednesday. Not sure if it has sold as well this year but from what I've heard I doubt it has sold as well.

Well there are still all tickets on sale, this time last year family had sold out already so that hasn't sold as well, and if you believe what you read then it is the same across most festivals this year, you realise that when we actually get there its only going to be us guys on this forum that will be there, and the bands... No one else...

I thought it would be pretty busy this year but I'm hoping loads of people went for day tickets instead of camping. Fingers crossed anyway. Will have to make 2 trips to the car anyway as can't live with out the comforts of my cool box and food!

Food i.e sausages bacon muffins chocolate etc. Beer as in 4 litres of vodka and sambuca. I'm well prepared.

I don't get how the ticket delivery can vary so much. I bought mine back end of December through ticketmaster and got them in February.

Were they early bird though coz they will get delivered in a seperate batch.

No it was just after that finished as far as i can remember, think it was 165 quid arena only?

Im sure it will! I have checked many times to make sure I have actually bought the tickets and I have so its all good

Just double checked I ordered mine end of January and got them 8th April!

Seems like I've had them months!
