V festival 2013 - going alone

Been to V festival for the past two years but this year my friend has dropped out last minute and I'm stuck with my ticket! Don't want to miss out just because my friend won't go.

Just wondering if anyone else is going alone?

It wouldn't be ideal, but you'd be fine on your own. I go with my boyfriend and we often split up to see different acts, which isn't the same as being there completely alone but it probably wouldn't be that unbearable.

Being alone during the day is reasonably okay with me - but not having anyone to get pissed with/camp with is a bit of a bummer!
