At Leeds I have 14 that I definitely want to see, that most probably won't clash, clashes permitted there are an extra 5ish acts I want to see. So it's not too crammed

oh wow i have about 40 over the weekend at reading.... but mostly on the friday and sunday

Werchter, Pukkelpop and tomorrowland are all on my to do list. Damn belgium has great festivals..

no doubt there are a lot more on that lineup that I wouldn't mind seeing, but I've already ruled a lot out that I think will clash

I want to go abroad next year, most of my friends aren't even willing to look to other fests in the uk as an alternative to R&L, let alone in europe though

Can you imagine the people watching Nick Cave who are waiting for Mumford though, they'll play Red Right Hand and they'll all go mental like "EMREHGHHARD THEY'RE COVERING AN ARCTICS SONG"

I love the original Red Right Hand and the Arctics' cover, it's just so many Arctics fans think it's an original song, Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds are amazing, yet these people who claim to have the 'all seeing musical knowledge' cause they like Arctics probably don't even know they exist

It's the same with NIN - Hurt, yes the Johnny Cash cover is amazing, but NIN made that song, the credit is theirs, don't go around saying "The lyrics to Johnny Cash - Hurt are beautiful", they're not his lyrics

Agreed. I also think Stu Larsens cover of Fix you was good, but thats just because he supported passenger and he pulled some good faces whilest singing. See if anyone can find the video I put on youtube of it

I didn't realise that was a cover at all until I heard it on a car journey one day + just thought this sounds familiar...
