Im one of the few who dont actually mind the headliners (Having Biffy swings it for me) however its norm the undercard that will make the decision if i bother going.

So far that part doesnt look great!

I'm personally chuffed with the headliners. Biffy Clyro absolutely smashed it at Reading last year, RHCP are just an all-round brilliant band and I'd love to see Kings of Leon again! Don't mind Calvin Harris/Rudimental as undercard for Biffy - will be a bit of an odd transition - but at least they're trying to cater for everyone!

Does anyone know if they've changed their strategy in the last couple of years? It's just we've gone from KoL/Foo Fighters/Kasabian (what I would consider a modern trio) to Tom Petty/Pearl Jam/Bruce Springsteen... Just seems like the headliner variety/time period changes wildly year on year!

Whatever happened to the days where we had Jay Z/The Strokes/Paul McCartney - what a real mix that was!

I think it's a pretty good set of headliners. Playing it safe. Biffy are just brilliant, no matter what. RHCP still have a good following, despite people questioning their live performances. They're still a big name. KoL are a big band and fit the bill.

Chase And Status have been very quiet in announcements so far this year, probably due to them playing almost every festival in 2013.

Festivals they didn't do last year were IOW & V so I can see them subbing both.

Playing Sundown on August 30th so it looks like V is more likely at the moment.
