cornucopia
Definitely token things. Careful not to lose them i found a few quids worth last year and year before. I have however lost them too, i think!
Kalex
Argh hate tokens!! Literally because it requires extra queuing and planning ahead...and OK, maybe also because I tend to lose them too! Oh well... Liking the attitude though: No beer? Drink Jager!

gard
Always tokens for the bars in DL, except for those in the guest pass area, but never had much of a queue at all, of course those nearest the gates fill up as soon as they open, but you just don't go to those walk a bit further and you will be sorted... Remember in 09 I think it was when I walked in and got told by the bar staff on the bar I walked up to that they could only serve people with a challenge 21 wrist band on... Now I am in my 30s now and probably look older so asked if they were having a laugh as I hadn't brought any form of ID with me for security reasons and he said "Nope, doesn't matter what you look like, have to have your ID checked and have a wrist band before we serve you, its a new policy" left there thinking if thats the case a full scale riot will kick off in about 3 minutes... Walked to the next token seller and got lots of tokens straight off... Bloody jobsworth... ANYWAY, back on topic, getting tokens has never been an issue for me and as for running out of beer??? Good heavens above, don't think that is too much of an issue either, have to say that as far as getting served is concerned Download has never been an issue and have always had drinks as and when I wanted them without any queues... Only the bloody Calzone has the queue!

cornucopia
There were paper tokens in 2009 and then they went all plastic i think. Or there may have been paper things in 2010 too. In fact think there was cos it pissed down one day and mind were ruined. Good call for the plastic ones!

rivalschools.price
Why do they even have tokens? What is the supposed advantage of them? It certainly isn't because they are easier. Also, I remember last year I was in a round of 4 and it came to £16, every time I went to the bar they would say 'you can have 5 for £20 if you like'. Not the best special deal i've ever been offered.

saratink
At least its only beer in download that operate with tokens...at rock wertcher in Belgium all food and drink was tokens so you ended up spending more than you usually would
rivalschools.price
I think its because it's easier for them to just throw 20pound notes in the till or underneath with less waiting for change etc for punters. Not sure, I might be wrong.
