Howdy, new to the forum. looks canny though. just got a few questions about the camp site and that....

is it still glass free?? we went in 2009 and there was no glass allowed on the campsite. which wasnt good for bottles of spirits and stuff.

has the campsite changed at all, i.e is it any bigger? i remember last time we were there it was perfect size. nice and cosey, but not on top of each other, and 5 minutes walk to the stages. was really good crack

Whats the general feel like been on the campsite last few years?? we had a good laugh last time around the camp (the odd time we were there) but there wasnt much going on around us. the stewards were going round taking drink off the young 'uns as wel.

had a magnificent time last time, so good bands on, and gonna youtube all the 'undercard' ones off the other thread and try and remember to actually go see them this time.

Hello and welcome to the forum, the festival still has a no glass policy, im pretty sure thats adopted by most festivals out there. The camping has expanded a bit due to the crowd size increasing over the years. It was pretty packed last year but I think theyre looking at that this year and trying to organise the fields better.

Sure youll have a great time, never stayed in the general camping area before due to being an old grumpy bugger who needs his sleep ! Ive heard its a laugh but noisy if that helps.

Still only 5 minutes from campsite to pretty much any stage as well.

Cheers dudes. i was at Sectre Garden Party last year and they had the same rule, so i guess it is for most festivals now. makes sense like really, just handy to know before hand so your not messing about at the gate and risking throwing away perfectly lovely spirits. i'll bottle it all to ensure minimal fuss.
