V Fest Virgin- advice on car parks, entrance and local shops

Hi, this year I am going to V Fest :-) It's my second ever festival and first time at V so I just wanted to ask a few questions really :-)

I'm driving up with friends and we've bought car park tickets in advance but HOW FAR is the car park from the arena when walking?? Also, can you keep popping back to your car over the weekend or is it once you are in you can't leave 'till the festival has finished? And finally, are there any cheap corner shops, Asda or Tesco's near by as I've heard the food is expensive and crap lol. Thanks in advance :-)
