Glastonbury alcohol email?

Here we go again! Seriously not good comms on this one. I still plan to take a trolley but adds to the pre-festival stress.

I would actually guess it is the official policy and eavis merely said it was ok to stop the bad pr. however as others have pointed out its not been officially retracted.

Im taking a trolley so that me and all my mates can put our booze in a truck and share the load. Im worried that security wont have got the memo though and it will end up being a nightmare.

I am physically capable of lifting my sack truck, probably capable of carrying it 200 meters if worst comes to worst! Luckily I stuck mainly to spirits. Just the one crate.

our trolley is well packed, got the booze for three of us on it.. yet only two of us arriving with it, the third will be in the air.

If there is any hassle could we remove the split pins and wheels and then have a wheel free transportation device?

The 'only for personal use' rule isn't just for wheeled modes of transport, if you're carrying in alcohol by donkey or hovercraft and it's considered that you intend to sell it on then they'll still take it off you.
