Scott Parker has joined Fulham, there making some decent signings. Darren Bent will get a few goals for them this season.

There side does seem a bit on the ageing side with the likes of Parker, berba, riise, bent for example.

There has definitely been a drop off in the last couple of year where from memory you haven't beaten anyone of note. I would also say (I think from memory you don't agree) that the fact a random draw put you on the opposite half of the draw to Barcelona twice (when they were both at their peak and were the side best equipped to take advantage of your midfield weakness) made it easier for you to reach those finals. You could have been drawn against them in the quarters both times and made just the 1 final, but that's the luck of the draw.

WIll be interesting to see how Moyes does in Europe as he has no track record at all with Everton.
