Nah. More praise there than anything. Just making a point that I think Gerrard helped create an unnecessary frenzy at the club in my opinion.

the frezy was already there, because of how they were playing (tho by the time the media really started to focus on them, their form had dropped).

For all we know, Gerrard's huddle could have been what had them keep pushing on, and they'd have faltered before that without his input.

And so you're merely using a convenient stick to beat him with.

Because it's not like you'd have credited that with why they'd won the league if they had, would you?

No, they could have. No should about it. The fact is that they had to win 13 and draw 1 from their last 14 games to be in with a shout of winning it all (depending what Chelsea and City did over that time). They fell short by one game. A game they lost to Chelsea. Hardly bottling it.

Utd will win the league next year if they win all their games. Its in their hands now. Theirs to throw away. If they dont they'll have bottled it!

I just mean the last 4 games. He was great for the 11 odd in a row yeah. He was a huge player all season really. He deserves a league medal.
