Fabregas to Chelsea really saddens me. I'm not an Arsenal fan, but I have a soft spot for them and genuinely thought he wouldn't go to another Prem team.

They've probably only signed him after LvG had turned down the opportunity to buy him.

That's something that I don't understand too well. Chelsea sell Mata to sign Cesc?

I think it's a perfect signing for Chelsea. They lack creativity other than Hazard, and Cesc will provide that in bucketloads.

As a front six, you aren't gonna see much better than:

Matic Fabregas

Willian Oscar Hazard

Costa

Its debatable whether Arsenal needed Ozil, they definitely don't need Fabregas.

Arsenal do have greater concerns in other areas...but...but Fabregas would strengthen the team.

But would probably diminish the quality they can bring in in the areas which need strengthening.

If Arsene uses the money to strengthen in the correct areas, then he's done the right thing passing up the chance to sign Fabregas.

However, if he now doesn't bring in some quality players, the fans are gonna be on his back like never before.

Clearly they're not all like for like but were it me I'd gladly sell one of Cazorla, Ozil, Wilshere, etc to fund Fabregas. He's head and shoulders above those IMO.

There's where we differ then - I think Fabregas is better than Ozil and that's not just based on Ozil's time in England

I think Fabregas is more suited to English football than Ozil. I think Ozil has the potential to become a better player than Fabregas, but isn't atm.
