Frustrating match. Not being biased towards my team but Yeovil played so so much better than QPR. They had ONE shot on target which was the penalty! We defended really well, closing them down and not letting them get any shots in. Yeovil were getting the ball into the box a lot and getting some shots in but Rob Green was playing really well.

I can't wait to have Madden back. Ngoo (on loan from Liverpool) came on in the last 20 minutes, the guy is a beast 6ft6 but wow, he was awful. :banghead:

It's just a step too far, give credit to Yeovil for getting into the Championship, and even more credit for the Chairman not bursting the bank to stay there. I really hope they stay up. In fact i'll be seeing them for the first time ever on Saturday coming against Bolton, too soon for a 6-pointer?

Great stuff from City today. We nicked a result against Stoke that I would take all day long. Out stoked Stoke. Fair play to Hughes as I thought they were very good in the second half without ever really threatening. Think it's going to be perm any 1 from 6 for the title this season..

Fellaini made to look a boy against the man that is Yaya Toure.

City rampant, and a fine team to watch in full flow.

One other thing - Moyes' comments were classless. Hope he gets charged by the FA for them, not the first Man Utd manager to be an ungracious loser.

Di Canio sacked, it was inevitable. I thought he was a strange choice at first, but in fairness he kept them up. Seems like a manager who works fine when things are going well, but when things start going wrong his erratic behavior is likely to have a negative impact on moral. Im struggling to think of an obvious candidate to replace him, suspect they may go abroad. From a neutral perspective the league is worse without him.

Can see one of Spurs or Arsenal being dark horses for the title.

Would be a brilliant spanner in the works if either happened, given how the press have been focussed so much on Moyes, Pellegrini and Mourinho over the summer. Plus personally I'd prefer either over Chelsea or the Manchester clubs, neither are as unlikeable.

West Brom are making a serious habit of costing managers their jobs. AVB, RDM, Hodgson, Hughton, McCarthy. I'm sure there's others I've forgotten.

I'd probably have a little more sympathy for Di Canio if he didn't appear to be such a humongous c**t
