not exactly. I kinda joked with him when he said everything from LP was shite by mentioning the album sales that they'd had meaning that it must be going by that album a pretty broad liking for it. What I did wrong was saying best selling album etc in general and not using the right terms for it which I later re-corrected.

Biffy Clyro seem the most obvious, Muse said they are playing a couple of Euro fests next year, there's always good old trustworthy Def Leppard or even Black Sabbath as an outside bet, since they are supposedly headlining Hellfest.

As much as a fan of LP as I am, there's no way you can use record sales to show that they're good. No way.

What I'm saying is, it's the more the fact you used album sales as proof that the album is good that got you "whipped", not that you got something wrong.
