Aerosmith are doing festivals in June, apparently in talks with Download and IOW.

I don't know, I'd say it's almost as far. I suppose it depends where you camp at Download though. It was just the way you said 'why the hell would you camp in green or brown' that got me.

I certainly wouldn't be surprised if the attempted Aerosmith, Avenged Sevenfold and Van Halen becomes Aerosmith, Avenged Sevenfold and Def Leppard.

Just read someone on the Rock Werchter thread say that several July festivals are holding out for an answer from Rage, and as a result aren't announcing acts yet. Just a thought, but could Download's delay possibly be due to this? If they are around they'd surely be in for them, especially as the other options seem so bad.

I'd probably see Aerosmith to be fair, I seem to be one of the few on here who don't mind some of their stuff

As for A7X and Def Leppard, I wouldn't go near either. They could make up for everything by putting Jimmy Eat World and Weezer on the bill though
