Anyone see how much standing tickets were for London? They were all sold out by the time I got through this morning

Ordered 3 for our group this morning, worked out to £83.45 each. I was expecting them to be around the £100.00 mark.

I see Ticketbastard have got their dynamic/platinum f**kery in place, and I don't doubt AXS will do too.

Anyone buying in the general sale, See Tickets are selling for some of the venues. Go there to avoid that if you can!

I wanted Stevie Nicks tickets today and Nick Cave but knew I couldn't afford both. Got 2 Cave tickets for 70 quid each at the old Manchester Arena in the pre sale.... Stevie Nicks wanted 200 quid for a seat in the gods at this new money pit arena in Manchester. with the 60 quid booking fee and other fees and fees on your fees the price for 2 tickets was ..... £469. oh and if you want a few drinks after the gig you can pay for their after gig party - £40 quid each but you do get one drink included in that... bargain.

The world has gone mad.

ps there are lots of tickets left

First saw Nick Cave in 1987.  Have seen him many times over the years, including twice at Glastonbury.  Managed to get a standing ticket for Dublin at a not-total-rip-off price.  Looking forward already!

Had a Stevie Nicks ticket on my screen today, but common sense told me to release it.

It's magnificent.

Masterpiece. Apart from maybe the first two minutes of Wild God, which I could have written.

Topping the lot at Glasto 😉

Did you end up getting a ticket? Can't wait to see them in Dublin later in the year (and yes, album is bloody great!).

I'm a little disappointed given I think the three singles are the best things he's done in aeons - but the rest of the album continues ploughing the same sort of shapeless ambient furrow hes been trapped in for a while now.

However, that's just only on the first listen.

I'm a huge NC fan, and I loved Ghosteen, but I just find this a bit... Much.

Lyrics aren't doing it for me, and he's just got a bit too goddy* for me.

*I think this is in combination with his continued preaching on Red Hand Files which sets it apart from his career long religious imagery

I still see no world where he takes anything other than Pyramid headliner these days.

I think he's alright, but I don't see him as a Pyramid headliner. He's got some hefty cult status, but he's no bigger than the Chems, QOTSA, Foals - especially in the UK at least.

Move Glasto to Belgium.

I’m at EOTR so not had chance to hear it in full yet - but love what I’ve heard so far - does anyone else get a strong Scott Walker influence? Also, shoot me if I’m wrong but I was also getting some Flaming Lips Soft Bulletin era and then I read it’s mixed by David Fridmann - same producer - but I had the same feeling from the second half of White Elephant from Carnage - there was definitely a Flaming Lips influence there
