Really like the setlist. 

 

Although I hope they play The Ship song at the end, as originally intended on the setlist.

The Ship Song is my favourite Cave song... and pretty much the only one that didn't impact me when I saw him in Manchester a few years ago.

 

I'd love him to play it again, but I won't be devastated if he doesn't. Sad that I missed the '22 festival run and therefore There She Goes, My Beautiful World - honestly thought he'd retain that over O Children.

I like Bright Horses, I should say! But I could happily swap it for Galleon Ship or Night Raid in a pinch.

I don't think he really used to play it before it was in Harry Potter.

He didn't play it at all really after Potter though. Was a fixture on The Abattoir Blues Tour, then was resurrected for a spot of promo shows behind Push the Sky Away - and then didn't rock up until the '22 run.

He's up to ten Wild God tunes on the list now and meanwhile...in other news:

Fantastic news that he's playing the whole album. Wild God and Ghosteen are the best albums he's done since Let Love In. Both are beyond fantastic.

 

It's heartbreaking the pandemic scuppered Ghosteen, but Wild God deserves to be played live in its entirety and I cannot wait. 

 

The fact it will upset the Red Right Hand and Into My Arms brigade is a lovely bonus.

Man. I absolutely hate Wild God which is shocking as I'm a late era, PTSA, Ghosteen and Skeleton Tree fan. 

 

I'm sure the show will still be fantastic but I'm quite disappointed

Wild God as a song is poor, but I like the album...
