Hmm, disagree there. Think there's some of the latter-day stuff among his very best. Push the Sky Away, I Need You, Night Raid all up there for me.

The usual rules apply: the songs that are popular with the masses are usually the least interesting of an artists catalogue. 

 

Into My Arms

Red Right Hand

 

Whereas 

 

Ghosteen

Night Raid 

Sun Forest 

 

Are far more interesting. 

 

But there's no right or wrong answer with Nick, all the albums are ace. Even Nocturama has it's charms. DIg Lazarus is my least fave, but it is still good.

 

Such a shame he didn't get to headline Glastonbury. I guess it's a different festival with a different crowd these days? (I am not sure, I don't know anyone who still goes).

Jubilee Street was probably my favourite song when I seen him.

 

I think in the middle of the set would be a nice spot for Into My Arms.
