I reckon 'arena level' isn't really a good indicator of Glastonbury headliners potential. Multi-shows per arena yes.
Examples from the Manchester AO arena listings:
James Blunt, Toto, Jacob Collier, London Grammar, Black Stone Cherry, The Human League, The Corrs, Gabrielle, The Wombats, etc. I don't think (Hope!) we're above that level!
If it wasn't for Judas Yeast's previous reliability I would suspect it was Slipknot - Green Day - Korn as headliners with Sleep Token - Sabaton - Dream Theater as subs or second stage headliners.
But yes, if no Slipknot at Download then surely a Knotfest UK with some of those bands doing that.
What I'm thinking about (not related to the hint), if we are getting first names early November, Tyler, the Creator's new album is coming out on 28th of October and soon after should tour annoucment come + last time he was at Sziget was 2015, I think it would be about time for Sziget to book him again, after 10 years... 🤞🏼
