Is St Vincent popular in the US?  Or even in reality in the UK?  Really like her but haven't seen her for a while.  Crowd she had on the Cave day of APE (2018ish) was modest.  Barclays Center website says up to 17,000 for gigs, possibly includes behind stage seats that he doesn't have on sale.  Still seems like a very big venue for him too be playing in the US, I assumed he would be very much a cult affair.

Assumed she was to a point. Popped up with Macca the other night in Mexico.

Popular, yes.  But its odd, she doesnt have like "hits" from the past few records that everyone knows.  I think people really like Annie as a celebrity as much as they like her music. I'd guess that there are plenty of people who know who she is but couldn't name a song. She's well respected. So while Daddy's Home was kind of a flop critically and amongst fans, she still sells the tickets and people line up on the street to be at the front of her shows.  And the shows are sick.
Here in NYC, she did Radio City for the Daddy's Home tour (6000 cap) and on this current tour she did two nights in 2700 cap.

Interesting. She's likely pushing a good chunk alone for Brooklyn then, which might reflect poorly on outright sales for Cave in the first place.

But these things can pick up pace at strange times. Not sure how many would have been given away and so forth, but there was about three-and-a-half-thousand seats left for the Leeds show with the Bad Seeds two-and-a-half weeks out.
