Justiceforcedave
I got a set list from the stage (from Mr Caves Pianio no less) for my super fan friend. I'll ask her to take a picture... Although I can tell you now it varies from what was played. russycarps
Was it similar to the previous leg of the tour? Or has it been shaken up?
Justiceforcedave
Not sure really, looking at the rest of the tour it mainly looks like festivals to me? Played pretty much all the songs in the festival set with a few others. A nice meaty 4 song encore as well. I'll post the pic as soon as my friend wakes up and takes a pic. Zoo Music Girl
That's really hard to read on my phone but was there no From Her To Eternity? Fuck sake! However, Are You The One! One of my favourite Cave songs ever. There may well be tears. Nobody's Baby Now and Hiding All Away also Excuse my ignorance also but what is Give Us A Kiss...? There's way more old/obscure stuff than I expected. Wonder if he'll mix it up more than we expect?
Justiceforcedave
I know it's the first song in the set (and the whole thing was amazing!) but I fucking love Jubilee Street and it gives me goosebumps live. My buddy lost her shit for nobodies baby now

russycarps
Yeah jubilee street is monstrous live. Can that set list is more than I dared hope for. Gutted for Rebecca losing eternity, but it'll be back, where tupelo is I reckon

Gutted for Rebecca losing eternity, but it'll be back, where tupelo is I reckon At least I saw it at Glastonbury It was so good then as well. And I think you're right - it will be at the Koko gig if nothing else as it will be perfect for that small setting. You watch, he'll play it on Monday for your gig now! Oh my God I am beyond excited. I almost didn't want to know the setlist so I could be surprised but I can't bloody help myself. Is it on setlist.fm yet? As Dave said the physical list is not exactly accurate? Justiceforcedave
Stranger then kindness was lush. For what it's worth before I tried for the stage set list I asked the lighting guy, told me he couldn't give it to me as he needed it for the next night, his list tho king back was much longer so I'd expect there are some more songs to get wheeled out. russycarps
it looks like this was the last regular gig of the first leg of the tour, before festival season. So there is quite a lot of new stuff We No Who U R Jubilee Street Wide Lovely Eyes Higgs Boson Blues From Her to Eternity Red Right Hand Stranger Than Kindness Deanna Jack the Ripper Your Funeral... My Trial People Ain't No Good Love Letter Into My Arms The Weeping Song The Mercy Seat Stagger Lee (Fred Waring & His Pennsylvanians cover) Encore: Papa Won't Leave You, Henry Tupelo Push the Sky Away
Zoo Music Girl
He's definitely shaken it up since then. Really surprised there's so little PTSA in last night's gig given that he's not toured it in this country yet. Makes me wonder if the Brighton gig was actually a bit of a 'special' one like Koko will be? It was announced separately to the rest of the tour wasn't it? That said, they've obviously practised a shitload of stuff so we could get anything!

Really want to see watching alice Don't be gutted! Reckon we'll definitely get Watching Alice at Koko. It's so hard to predict Cave setlists isn't it? He's been playing nothing from Lazarus (I think) and most artists would always throw in songs from the last album.
Midnight Man
Jubilee Street Tupelo Abattoir Blues Sad Waters Hiding All Away Mermaids Higgs Boson Blues Stranger Than Kindness (Are You) The One That I’ve Been Waiting For? From Her to Eternity Babe, You Turn Me On The Mercy Seat West Country Girl Stagger Lee Push the Sky Away We Real Cool Deanna Red Right Hand Papa Won't Leave You, Henry Someone's just posted this as last night's setlist - Eternity's back in - is this accurate Dave? The other list had a shitload of ballads and would have been extraordinary. However, if that's the list they're selecting from, then every night at Hammersmith is going to be different - hang on to your receding hairlines...
