...I watched the first two Nick Cave tunes, then the whole of pumpkins right at the front.......then saw the Pumpkins at Wembley and Nick Cave in Brighton and at the Koko later on in the year. I got my fix of both bands

Let Love In was my Nick Cave gateway album. I have it and The Boatman's Call on my list of things I need to get on vinyl. I've already splashed out on Five Leaves Left, Madvillainy and In The Aeroplane Over the Sea since Christmas though, so I think Cave might have to wait for a bit.

Aeroplane is brilliant on vinyl. Not five leaves left biggest fan but it's the only one I own. Need to get the other two.

I've prioritised Drake's albums in order of preference. I've already got Pink Moon and it sounds gorgeous.

Remember that girl in the white dress on the boys shoulders that Nick almost sacrificed during the 2013 gig? I think he sang Stagger Lee into her face. The real pretty one?

Later that year I went to the ballot only gig at Koko in Camden. You had to collect the wrist band tickets in the afternoon, which they clipped on tight, and then come back later for the gig. She was in the toilet of the pub opposite with paper, scissors and colourful pens fashioning a fake one.

An hour later she was at the front of the gig on someones shoulders, same white dress.

Fair play to her.

Just to be clear, I wasn't in the toilet with her. My (female) mate was.
