Pumpkins and Cave. I was devastated over it, but then saw all of Cave and legged it to Other for all the best songs of the Pumpkins set. 

Radiohead would be on another level. I'd have to see them probably, but it would kill me. I don't want to think about it.

I've a lot to thank this thread for getting me to revisit Nick Cave's music. Skeleton Tree will probably be my album of the year, several others I've now acquired I love too. Awesome if he's to play next year, any stage will do me.

the dream is alive! Hoping for a few UK dates in May and then a slot at Glastonbury headlining one of the stages. As long as there's no clash with Radiohead then I'll be there.

I have this feeling he is going to do the other on Sunday, which I've now pretty much decided is fact.

Reckon he'll headline JP if he headlines any stage.

Even though there's no reason for him to drop down the lineup since 2013, I do also think the PJ Harvey slot from this year would be good for him (and probably more suitable for the size of act he is than subbing Pyramid), before a decent Other headliner such as Bon Iver or NIN.

It's the new material that would put me off seeing him to be honest. At his own gig it will be incredible, at glastonbury at the end of a solid days drinking/other stuff....it's not ideal.

To be honest I'm sort of relieved, both for the reasons Russy mentions and the fear of a Radiohead clash. Would much rather see him it as his own gig - and those dates rule out a Glastonbury/Cave gig clash

They're adding them quite quickly. Hopefully something in London/Brighton soon.

Wonder when these UK/Europe dates can conceivably be. Either very soon, in a relatively small gap between February and May on opposite sides of the world, or post-June.

I reckon we'll at least get one show before Christmas, but it'll be a right bugger to get tickets for.

Feb to May isn't that small. Should think it'll fall between then, or at least I'm hoping. Should be announced soon if they just rolled out Oceania and North America in one day.
