Shit, this means I'm going to have to fork out £50 for a ticket to see him.

That his usual charge? Maaan. I was thinking I'd prefer seeing him on his tour than at Glastonbury anyway because I had the heebie jeebies about chatters ruining stuff like I Need You so I wasn't too fussed about the news, but that'll be a bite out of the old bank account.

Ptsa tour at Manchester Apollo was pushing fifty including all fees.

The 'solo' tour the following year at Glasgow concert hall was around seventy iirc.

Oh aye I remember swerving the solo tour because of the prices. But yeah some bands are worth it and on this album tour they'll be nigh on unmissable.

Manchester Albert Hall please. (he never plays Leeds).

Imagine if he played The Grand Theatre. Gawd, that'd be sensational.

It's arguably pricey but then:

Dental has hit the nail on the head (as he often does). I reckon there'll be dates in Europe before and after US leg.

The bugger will do the UK in May, he has a nasty habit of playing gigs when I'm on holiday, and I go away in May.

They're one of my few remaining must-sees that I haven't yet, really need that sorting out on this tour. They'd make a fucking incredible headliner for Green Man's promised 15th anniversary extravaganza.

Nick Cave at Green Man would be sensational.

Those tour dates also make Lattitude a probability. Announcing him would get me signed up to either of those festivals.

I really could do with them going on sale after Christmas tbh.

Likewise. I've been thinking and the Royal Albert Hall would be unmissable.

Looking forward to the setlists that come out of this tour too. Here's hoping more of the No More Shall We Part stuff gets played.

Is it worth seeing the film in 3D? It's showing again in December but it's only in 3D.

Yeah definitely, I saw it in Brighton in 3D and was looked brilliant/classy without being too over the top blue alien 3D.

Really comes into its own during the performance of some of the songs, think it was Girl in Amber when they had this mind blowing effect that sorted needed 3D.
