Another question to add to the list.

What is the track you are listening to now, or if not now, what was the last one.

I am listening to:

Totally Enormous Extinct Dinosaurs - Garden

I've answered a couple already, but for the sake of completeness:

Bump this NFR NFC:

1. First popular music (as opposed to nursery rhyme type thing) song you EVER remember hearing...like on the radio...a parent playing it, etc?

Shine on you crazy diamond by Pink Floyd

2. First record / CD / whatever you bought..as in went into Our Price (example) and bought it yourself?

Imagine by John Lennon

3. First album, if different from the above, you bought?

First album owned (xmas present), Shakin' Stevens, but can't remember the title. It had 'Green Door' on it, but not 'This Ole House', which made it a severe disappointment at the time.

First album (vinyl) bought, 'Bright Lights' by Showaddywaddy.

First CD bought, 'Misplaced Childhood' by Marillion.

4. First song you kissed to?...whether or not it was your first kiss...you remember...yes you do!

Didn't actually kiss during the song, but danced to it and things got juicy soon after, 'Everything I do, I do it for you' by Bryan Adams.

5. Favourite Ginger, famous or otherwise?

Toss up (fnaar!) between Lily Cole and Lucy Rose.

6. First gig.

Alice Cooper (taken along).

Deacon Blue (chose to go).

No fibs now!

I ABSOLUTELY ADORE this lis, Gumby!

I could write a dissertation on it!

What i like best about a list like this that:

- we spend out time on this forum getting little snippets of each other and sussing each other out making daft assumptions depending on how much we each wanna give away...

BUT:

- you can kind of see more of what another person is like in how much of them you see in yourself from the things THEY like.

That makes no sense...but it does to me :)

Since I'm a tiny bit younger than most here... ;P

1. Same as Matty, my dad is a singer/guitarist in a band so I'm gonna say "Got my mojo working".

2. NKOTB? :P

3. Really don't remember.

4. Probably something terrible and boybandish,

5. Since I don't want to choose between lucyginger or H.M.V I'm going with Christina Hendricks.

6. Uhm, First one I was brought along to: Louisiana Red. First one I paid for myself is Erykah Badu but I would sneak into smaller venues from the time I was 14 so no clue actually.

It does make sense, we'll all feel like we know each other a bit already, when we do actually meet up :bye:

I love this shit about what songs/bands/films/tv shows we used to enjoy, I could talk about the Lost Boys and Hong Kong Phooey for hours!

Thinking a little more about "first albums" My parents bought me my first cassette recorder when I was about 10. With it came 3 cassettes:

1. Beatles White album

2. Bob Dylan

3. marching band music from the Scotts guards

I think they wanted to cover all bases :girlimpossible:
