Some have noted that Southampton's manager hiring has been quite incoherent - sacked off Hassenhutl for Nathan Jones, who wanted to play very different football and seemed overwhelmed by the PL, then Ruben Selles, who struggled with a squad on the way down, then Russell Martin's pass-pass-pass-pass ball, and now a boss that wants to go back to Hassenhutl's style but whose track record is quite spotty and who has never managed outside Italy.  I'm not saying just go full Brexitball - as I've seen it nicknamed - and hire Big Sam (although his relegations at WBA and Leeds hint the magic has gone), but it does seem somewhat confused as to where this came from.  I get it more with Wolves - their owners have a strong relationship with Jorge Mendes, so they just asked him to find them someone and he did.
