Bristol Harbourside 2013

Hey all

Am heading to this for the first time this year with mates, looks like a nice chilled out day setup! Hopefully catch some sun.

Been checking out the website not much info on night time activities. Anyone been before can give me some idea of what to expect? As its a free festival anything is good!

Anyone else looking forward to this or just me ?

I went last year but will miss this year as i'll be out of town at another festival.

It's a great day out with a lovely vibe - as all the free stuff that goes on in Bristol is - but i wouldn't go expecting too much from the entertainment. It's one of those things which is more like everyone meeting their mates with music available in the background than it is where everyone avidly watches the band.

As far as I can recall the outdoor free music shuts down at around 10pm. I guess the clubbing types then head for the normal clubs and bars (I didn't, I went for a huge meal and then needed a lie-down lol).

Sounds nice and chilled then, perfect! Not feeling a mad one at the moment, so will enjoy it.

It's not his last festie appearance. He's doing Musicport in October.

(edit: perhaps it's his last outdoor festival appearance?)

I was told that Joshua Moses (also known as Jashwha Moses) is playing. If you like reggae he's worth checking out, his two albums are both good.

Yeah headed down to Queens square to see DJ Derek tonight! Cant wait the mans a legend.

Good times are a-calling....now to get out of my office. Luckily I can see college green from here so people watching is happening.
