Drop off point at Weston Park

This will be my 8th V Festival, and I've always gone before in someone's car.

But, this year, my girlfriend and I, are going without any other mates, and neither of us drive.

We know someone who drives a minibus in his spare time as a side business, and have booked him to take us there

on the Friday morning earlyish about 6.30am, and pick us up on Monday morning around 9am.

My question is, how easy is it to get to the drop off point you see where the buses etc are,

as obviously we don't want the minibus to have to go into a car park as we would be charged,

and I imagine it would be a nightmare for him to get out.

I believe this driver has took people to V Festival before, so he probably knows what to expect, but just wanted to be prepared.

Any help would be appreciated.

There are a fair few drop of points around Weston, even if you have to go into one of the side roads to get dropped of.

The main drop off point for taxis and minibuses is just near to the main entrance to Weston Park, just off the A5 road

However on the Friday and Monday these roads do get jammed with traffic and getting there by car might take a pretty long time. The link off the motorway is pretty notorious on the Friday for major delays

A lot of people get dropped off away from the site but walk in as its quicker, but it is a bit of a trek from the traffic island to the site
