Anyway my favourite albums of the year are

1) QOTSA - ...Like Clockwork

2) FIDLAR - FIDLAR

3) Biffy Clyro - Opposites

4) Kanye West - Yeezus

5) Peace - In Love

6) Deap Vally - Sistronix

The Strokes, Daft Punk and Bowie were pretty poor, ad I thought the Palma Violets record wasn't actually half bad, it just wasn't as good as NME made it out to be.

Edit: Foals - Holy Fire was brilliant too

What's the deal with Bowie's album (except the fact Com Truise doesn't know what it's called )? I listened to it once when it came out, but can't remember it at all, but it has stellar reviews, yet no one on here seems to think it was good...

Although I suppose the same could be said for Daft Punk's album.

Yeah I agree with Dentalplan, it wasn't necessarily a dire album, it was okay, just not up to the standards of Bowie. But to be fair Bowie hasn't been up to the standards of Bowie since Never Let Me Down...

Nope, not at all. And I say that as a Radiohead/Thom Yorke fanboy.

Edit: I actually forgot to include that in my disappointments of the year! I'll amend that now. I gave it another go the other day, still does nothing for me.

Still not listened to some albums like Push the Sky Away which from what I have heard of it will definitely get high up on this list.
