Never been Leeds before and was wondering wether anyone can tell me if the Tesco turns into a barren wasteland full of empty shelves halfway through the festival?

Also, I was planning getting my alcohol at the Tesco on the way past as I really cannot be arsed carrying it all the way there when I can get it pretty much there. However, I'm only 17 but I look quite old (beard, tall) do you reckon whilst the festival's on they are a bit more lenient in asking for ID as they'll just be trying to get everyone in and out as fast as they can?

Everyone I'm going with are 17 as well so won't be able to ask them to get it for me by the way.

Cheers

I wouldn't advise using the self check outs if you are under 18, best to get it before & face lugging it in the bottom of your bag.

1.5ltr rum, half a crate of 4% ale to start the day & a crate each of Brothers featival strength & Strongbow. Cider imo tastes much nicer than tangy over fizzed lager if its warm.

If I can be bothered maybe 3ltrs of Westons vintage in a bag to arena smuggle in my trousers

I took bottles of cider last year. by the saturday they were all pretty warm, and horrible to drink. might try this this year then. seems like it'd be a lot more refreshing.

not sure how much i'll need to take this year, considering i'm staying at a friends on the tuesday, then staying from the wednesday through to the monday.

on top of that I'm scottish and drink a lot.

Last year I took fifteen beers and fifteen ciders, and ended up giving most of it away on the Sunday night. I'm not a big drinker these days. Still, I'll probably do the same again. Better to have too much than not enough.

You taken Bud before? Wondering what its like in a can when its not ice cold, cus I think Bud goes a bit rank when its not ice cold.

Good deal tho.

Tesco have a deal of 2 for £16 on 440ml cans

includes

12 cans of Becks Vier/Stella 4%/Carling/Carlsberg/Strongbow/Strongbow Pear/Fosters

10 cans of Strongbow dark fruits/Kronenbourg/Tetleys/Stella Cidre/Thatchers Gold/Magners/Carlsberg Export/John Smiths/Boddingtons/Bud/Stella

Think thats a decent deal, plenty of choice to mix and match

Sainsburys doing 2 for £18 on 440ml cans which is a better deal depending on what you're after

15 cans of Carling/Carlsberg/Fosters/Strongbow/Strongbow Pair.

So if you were going for any of the above 5 you'd get an extra 6 cans for £2 more.

I work in a water bottling plant and we ship out some stuff called Princes Gate water and up until recently they would've been perfect for smuggling in vodka because the caps were so cheap and the seal never broke and would always come off with the cap so you could've filled it up with vodka and it would have appeared as if it'd never been opened but they've just changed caps to something less shit.
