Gucci Piggy
Placebo is playing Moscow on Sat and Sun, so Placebo - Metallica seems logical. And Major Lazer is way too popular for KluB C + can't see AM closing the main stage.

Gossard
Should maybe start listening to Pixies too, they get so much love on here, where do I start?
Dietediet
Ah fair enough then. They bigger than Skrillex over there? I was more thinking that Arctic Monkeys could be a co-headline deal like KOL/Blur and DM/Editors this year, which I believe would make it stronger than having Arctic Monkeys headline alone with a dance act on afterwards. thetime
Skrillex is sorta sliding towards a 'has been' status, with the dubstep hype dying and such. He could still draw a big number of people, but it isn't the 'Skrillex should play main stage' craze from 2012 either. In the mean time, Major Lazer drew the same (record breaking) size of crowd to the Pukkelpop main stage as Eminem and Foo Fighters did, incredible but true. And I'm actually surprised, but it appears AM don't need a co-headline deal to appear stronger. Just look at the reactions on social media after their announcement, people are basically going nuts over it...

karelaanzee
Current guess for the main stage: Placebo - Metallica - Skrillex Kings of Leon - Arctic Monkeys The Black Keys - Pearl Jam - 2manydj's Franz Ferdinand - QOTSA - Muse

karelaanzee
Muse said in september they would play one European festival next summer, and it isn't a UK festival. So an European exclusive would be quite a good way for Werchter to close their 40th edition.
Gucci Piggy
Pearl Jam and Muse would probably be the best case scenario for the final two headliners for me. Would love that.

Babyquack
Muse have said no UK festivals but also said no festa in Western Europe - Matt even mentioned doing one in Easter Europe where they haven't got to on this tour so far (Moscow was mentioned as well) so I think we can rule them out of Werchter I'm afraid. It would be a dream come true if they did end up on the bill though

Gossard
In 2012 Blink182 played around 7pm so not really popular in Belgium I think. White Lies have played several times and I wouldn't be surprised if they'd play again in 2014 Edited December 6, 2013 by Gossard
