Not sure if this means anything but Foo Fighters have been announced for a show before the superbowl, Feb 1st 2014.

Does this mean they may play some festivals next year, lets hope so!

mmm this news give me hopes of Foos doing a summer festivals tour, the more gigs they announce the more possibilities we get to see them on sunday Werchter...

and for instance, if Daft Punk plays they'll be the headliner, that for sure

I know it's been said that they aren't playing in July but is there no chance they could play werchter, it'd just be a week after the scheduled perfomance at glasto then they could go back to america for their month off?

If Daft Punk gets announced as headliner that would be extremely disappointing for me personally. That would mean two headliners that I couldn't care less about(DP and AM). Daft Punk as a dance-act I wouldn't mind. Foo Fighters into Daft Punk who would close the festival, likely or not, that's what I'm hoping for(Foo Fighters for me, Daft Punk for you guys who like them )

they tweeted this 2 days ago, "you'll find out for yourself We can't disclose anything yet." regarding more acts before christmas.. you reckon we'll get an annoucement tomorrow? MGMT seems likely

they just been announced to an israeli festival (pixies as well) and this is what chris said:

"ive enjoyed appearing in recent years, and I'm very excited to bring with me Soundgrdn last. Looking forward to seeing all of you there with us on June 18 in Bloomfield." The band will take part this year the biggest festivals in Europe (Lolfloseh, Rock Werchter, Primavera, hurricane / southside, Nova Rock, and many more still will be published), and in this new festival will too."
