Will-2609's line up was the most realistic one I've seen here so far. I've thus taken it and updated it in terms of bands certainly not coming (or probably not coming in my opinion) or having the wrong spot:

Thursday:

Main Stage: Skrillex - Metallica - Placebo - Fall Out Boy - Deftones - Flogging Molly
KluB C: Paul Kalkbrenner
The Barn: Massive Attack - White Lies - ...
Friday:
Main Stage: Major Lazer - Arctic Monkeys - Snow Patrol - Macklemore & Ryan Lewis - Kaiser Chiefs - Tame Impala - ...
KluB C: Royksopp and Robyn - ...
The Barn: Stromae - MGMT - Imagine Dragons - ...
Saturday:
Main Stage: Pearl Jam - The Black Keys - Kasabian - Triggerfinger - Alice In Chains - Biffy Clyro - ...
KluB C: Rudimental - ...
The Barn: Pixies - Interpol - ...
Sunday:
Main Stage: Foo Fighters - Lenny Kravitz - (some act) - Bastille - Selah Sue - Imagine Dragons - ...
KluB C: Disclosure - ...
The Barn: Franz Ferdinand - Jake Bugg - Lilly Allen - ...

Hi everybody,

I find it pretty amazing that many of you already guessed many of the acts to play in Rock Werchter 2014 back in July and August!

I have some newbie questions as I'm new here and new to festivals (RW13 was my first ever...):

What makes an act a headliner or a sub headliner? I noticed some of you mention double headliner (Blur and KoL, Editors and Depeche Mode last year) and some mentioned the term sub headliner. Is it the time given them to play?

Thn what was that thing in last year saturday with Nick Cave, Volbeat and Rammstein?

Also, I read that many of you were at Werchter festival several times and I would like to know if there is always some headliners that play long shows (more then 90 minutes) or that RW13 was different from previous editions?

On a standard day there's one headliner, with the act below being a subheadliner, and everyone below that having no specific label (however days like this seem to be pretty rare at Werchter). Sometimes there are two co-headliners on a day (or double headliners as you put it), in which case there's two headline sized bands who will both play full length (at least 1.5 hours) sets. So one of the co-headliners would play at the time when a sub-headliner would usually play, but they'll play for longer and be named as a headliner (that's pretty much what it boils down to, what the festival wants to label them as).

The Nick Cave, Volbeat, Rammstein day was a straightforward day. Rammstein headlined, Volbeat sub-headlined and Nick Cave played third down. Nick Cave played a long set, but I'm assuming this was purely because he has a large back catalogue.
