The Metcheck has got worse since 8:30, its now stating very heavy rain on the Saturday arvo a total of 2cm!! (for both Reading and Leeds)

They've deffo got it wrong, deffo!

There's a high pressure hanging on and a weather front trying to push in from the west. Nobody can really tell how far east it will make it over the weekend so at the moment both sites could be really hot or subject to heavy rain. Apparently. Positive thought will see us through

A rather cloudy start with any persistent heavy rain clearing away eastwards. Becoming brighter and warmer during the afternoon, with the chance of a few thunderstorms developing around London particularly. Maximum Temperature 25 °C.

Outlook for Friday to Sunday:

Friday should be dry and very warm with sunny spells. There should be a good deal of dry and fine weather during the weekend, but with a risk of showers.
