But this particular festival would likely have ceased to exist.  He's mentioned in interviews that as a quaker the 2m quid per year for charity was a powerful motivation to continue, particularly once it started to move in the direction of music that wasn't really his bag. 

Apart from they’re discussing it with 2 non smokers and one part time festival smoker. So not really that fervent.   I’m just pointing out there’s a difference between actual risk and something you don’t like / find unpleasant.
