dentalplan
Portishead to play at ATP Iceland July 11th 2014 at Ásbrú, a former NATO base, in Keflavík. This will be their first show in Iceland. Please, I know it's unlikely, but please... I don't really think it is unlikely anymore. That's quite good news! music-fan4
I don't really think it is unlikely anymore. That's quite good news! I don't wanna get my hopes up I think looking at tour dates that one of the black keys or pixies will headline and then there will be a slightly out of the box third headliner
Gucci Piggy
TDCC, Portishead and Pixies would be a good set. Although I think Bombay Bicycle Club would have been a better choice than TDCC for the teen market. Then again, TDCC are the bigger band, and I suppose that's what counts really. Could still see it being TDCC, Portishead, Bombay.

They'd have been bought out of headlining Field Day if Latitude had them headlining. Black Keys could be too big as well but I suppose Elbow might have been considered too big when they headlined. Tuna
I don't think Elbow were too big, at all. Although I think The Black Keys probably will be if they have a new record on the way. Great news about Portishead though, might be a day ticketer.

dentalplan
I'd be surprised if they miss out Bestival and Latitude. They're active and will be very much in demand - let's just hope there's an album too!

DJL
I'd be happy with portishead and either pixies or black keys. That's a decent set of headliners...
PDAD
That would be absolutely unbelievable. I reckon TDCC, Manics and Portishead would be a pretty solid set.

dentalplan
Well all I can say I hope it isn't portishead, pj Harvey and manics. It isn't. Two Door Cinema Club are a headliner. I reckon there will be another current headliner big with the kids. Maybe someone who's been around a bit longer than Bombay or Two Door. music-fan4
Someone like Bloc Party but who aren't actually Bloc Party Friendly Fires? Phoenix? The Black Keys? The Maccabees? MGMT? Vampire Weekend? Vampire Weekend would be preferable out of the above, Modern Vampires... is a fantastic album imo!

Also, Vampire Weekend headlined 2 or 3 years ago so can't see a repeat. But i can see FF and Black Keys as potentially good shouts Friendly Fires may be a little weak but Black Keys would be a great coup! dentalplan
Doesn't look like VW are back touring. Maccabees subbed only last year didn't they? The rest are fairly good shouts. Friendly Fires are a bit of a mystery as to when they're gonna get this album out and tour as nothing has been announced yet. MGMT and Phoenix are in the area though. LondonTom
Someone like Bloc Party but who aren't actually Bloc Party The most obvious is Franz Ferdinand (Do Lattitude repeat headliners though?)
Tobieski
I personally think the black keys are already too large to be headlining Latitude. Phoenix is a good shout. TDCC, Phoenix, Portishead
5co77ie
Ed Sheeran could appear on the bill - he has mentioned he's doing 'one festival' and this looks the most likely if it were an exclusive appearance.http://stagedoor.fm/2014/01/06/ed-sheeran-speaks-zane-lowe-new-album-tour-festivals/Starting the interview, Sheeran confirmed that whilst fans will have to wait until October for his UK dates, he’ll be playing smaller shows and ‘a festival’ (Glastonbury, anyone?) beforehand. They suggest Glastonbury, but why one festival, Glastonbury don't do exclusive appearances. johnl
Do you think? I saw AEG plugging his tour so perhaps BST is his festival? TDCC and Sheeran - that would be far too much ginger for me I'm afraid.

PDAD
I agree with those who think they could be a little too big...but The Black Keys are playing a festival in Brittany on the 17th July...
