Okay here is a rough set list i'd like to see. . . yes we are back to lists in this thread.

I know that this won't be anywhere near what

happens but it'd be my personal preference.

Reflektor

Keep the Car Running

Haiti

Modern Man

Joan of Arc

Too long

Reflektor

Keep the Car Running

Haiti

Modern Man

Joan of Arc

Afterlife

Flashbulb Eyes

Wake Up

We Exist

Here Comes the Night Time

Rococo

City With No Children In

We Used to Wait

Power out

Rebellion

Encore break

My Body Is A Cage

Normal Person

No Cars

That's around 90 mins.

That'd be nice to see, how much reflektor do you think will be played?

edit I realise that was a stupid question

about 7 songs seems to be the usual (though i think they've played as few as 4 and as many as 9)

Haven't done festivals yet though - aside from the Aussie ones which were always going to be more heavy on new material than the UK and US ones anyway.

Coachella is my benchmark. Although even that might not be a great indicator because they've already done Coachella.

i reckon Coachella will be a good indicator. i'm expecting a pretty standard setlist at Glasto though:

Reflektor, Flashbulb Eyes, Here Comes The Night Time, Normal Person, Afterlife, We Exist, Joan Of Arc from Reflektor

The Suburbs (and cont), Ready To Start, Sprawl II from The Suburbs

Keep The Car Running and No Cars Go (and possibly My Body Is A Cage snippet) from Neon Bible

Tunnels, Power Out, Wake Up, Haiti and Rebellion from Funeral

maybe one or two omissions and / or surprises but yeah… that

I'd go:

Normal Person

Flashbulb Eyes

Power out

Rebellion

Joan of Arc

The Suburbs

Ready to Start

Tunnels

Keep the car running

No cars go

We exist

Haiti

Afterlife

It's never over

Sprawl II

Encore:

Reflektor

(Possible cover here still not sure)

Here comes the night time

Wake up

I did a setlist ages ago in this thread that I wanted but after seeing their current setlist I think this is likely.

I’ve not got a ticket and doubt I’ll end up with one, but positive thinking and all that...

What time do people reckon you’ll need to get to the pyramid for a good spot near the front for this? If it’s Elbow subbing then I can see most of their crowd staying for AF, so before they start?

Not really arsed about Elbow, so that wouldn’t be ideal. If I was there. Which I won’t be.

I'd go:

Normal Person
Flashbulb Eyes
Power out
Rebellion
Joan of Arc
The Suburbs
Ready to Start
Tunnels
Keep the car running
No cars go
We exist
Haiti
Afterlife
It's never over
Sprawl II

Encore:

Reflektor
(Possible cover here still not sure)
Here comes the night time
Wake up

Looks about right, but I think they might go a bit more Suburbs-heavy as they haven’t play since Neon Bible. Maybe We Used To Wait and/or Rococo instead of We Exist and/or Flashbulb Eyes.

On a not strictly Glasto note, I’d like to see Month of May back in the setlist. One of my favourites live.

You can get to the front whenever before it starts - as long as it's not a huge band like the stones. Just amble down the sides and cut in if it looks a little busy, but it will be fine for AF.

Nice one.

Can you see the sub on the Other stage and be at the pyramid for the start of the headliner, going by the usual stage times?

You're more than likely going to need to set off a little early or arrive after it's started. It's normally a maximum of 15 minutes between and it's so crowded from people moving around.

Thought as much. I’d probably on be there if it was The National/Pixies/someone else I love equally. It’d be hard to leave early but there’s no way I’d risk missing AF if I got a ticket.

We were at the Sonic stage about 20 mins before the Arctics started and managed to get about 5m from the barrier and almost in the middle of the stage.

with Wild Beasts now seemingly subbing the JP tent looks like i'm gonna have to do some serious running to get from them to Arcade Fire (and miss the end of Wild Beasts :( boo)

I did this last year - courteeners subbing john peel into arctic monkeys at the pyramid. Comfortably watched about two thirds of courteeners set, then got to the entrance of the pyramid field via bar and toilet in plenty of time. Then to get a decent spot/find our friends it took til about 10 mins into the set of being packed in and basically being carried by the crowd sideways ( quite far back too- we went side then forward which was a bit easier). Was a nightmare really, def wouldn't do that again.

Arcade fire prob won't have such a big crowd but then I underestimated arctic monkeys massively so could be wrong. To be on the safe side id say swerve wild beasts if you're a massive arcade fire fan just in case.

many others who seemed to have the same idea as us last year going from courteeners to arctic monkeys - two very similar fanbases! Probably similar with arcade fire and wild beasts, strange scheduling but if true then must be deliberate for some reason?
