If only Arcade Fire had a decent sub that made missing Wild Beasts worthwhile for!!

It's these clashes that annoy me the most actually, sort of inbetween acts...the overlapping ones are fine I know i have to make a choice

Totally agree with you there! Ended up accidentally watching the concert Elbow did for Radio 2 on the TV last night. It was awful, it had been on for half an hour before I realised what I was watching.

Just a little curveball here, at their last big outdoor UK show at Hyde park (I think that's right...) they played wake up second because "we wanted to play that to you guys before the sunset so we could see you". Possible repeat at Glasto?

It'll be fairly dark from the start of the set at Glastonbury though won't it? I'm sure they realise what a 'moment' playing it at the end would create

Yeah, the entire set should be in complete darkness, so it won't work.

Mexican festival, 90 minute set, no cover version

And those songs are the ones that have been played at nearly every gig. They have a lot of festivals to play this summer though, so it'll be interesting to see how they change things up as they move across Europe, or if they'll only risk leaving out the likes of No Cars Go or Ready To Start at their own gigs they have sprinkled between the festival dates.

As someone lucky enough to have seen them a few times though, I'm really not fussed about what they play at Glastonbury, I'll just be giddy to be seeing them headlining!

Just a little thing... I love how much Arcade Fire try to construct a certain atmosphere around their gigs.

"The Suburbs ( Continued )" when they did Reading was a great way to open a show. Especially when kicking straight into "Ready to Start".

See the Wild Beasts thread. A guy in there who knows the band said they're subbing John Peel.

I'd be happy to leave them a bit early to see the start of AF. Bloody love both bands but seeing Wild Beasts on Tuesday which will be better than seeing them in John Peel anyway. Not a fan of that tent.

Another festival set from Lollapalooza Argentina last night. They mixed the set up a lot, not a fan of Normal Person into Rebellion though as opposed to Power Out.
