I guess it depends who's on at the same time. I can see them having a decent sized crowd but I wouldn't be surprised if it's the smallest of the three and smaller than all of last year's headliners. Could be wrong though.

I think the atmosphere will be great though. May well end up watching them alone as two of my friends aren't fussed and the others, while fans, I can't see wanting to go down the front. Wild Beasts subbing JP aside, I reckon I'd like to get into the thick of it for these.

A little off topic, but do people still think there will be a more extensive UK arena tour in the autumn? I'm starting to think this outdoor Montreal show in August looks like an end of tour gig. Regretting not bothering with Earls Court now - although I'll be seeing them at Glastonbury of course.

I reckon there will be. The Montreal show could just be the end of the North American leg of their tour. They'll probably announce something just before/after Glastonbury to tie in with the massive publicity it brings.

I reckon the crowd will be relatively sparse but that should leave a nice bit of room to dance down at the front! And I reckon everyone there will be having an incredible time. I forgot how excited I am for them to play until I saw them at the top of that line-up. Its going to be fantastic!

In fairness at they're own large shows the crowd has never been the most active. Might be different with the new reflektor vibe now though

I can see a winter arena tour from Arcade Fire. I just can't see them not doing a more extensive tour at some point.

Ahh right. Can't speak for London as my city is manchester. They did 2 nights at O2 last time if I remember right though. There is only one arena in Manc so they will play that.

Well you have Wembley, Earls Court and O2 in London. Might be more. I have no idea. Those were just off the top of my head.

Would love it if they jut did a larger run of smaller venues like blackpool and roundhouse like November.

Definitely, hope I'm not working (Oxfam) at the time though, Arcade Fire are the band I wanna see the most.

Well of course you should dress up if you feel like doing it - loads of people do regardless - but they did it at the gigs to make more of an event out of it and encourage the party atmosphere. There's already a party atmosphere at the fest, I'd rather just be comfortable for the whole day beforehand.
