mungo57
I think roundhouse was £37.50 so I'd imagine that the EC show will be about the same
russycarps
Guess they keep changing their mind! Any idea on ticket prices? well I just looked at my emails and I paid £55 for a seat to see roger waters there in 2007... cant imagine it will be cheaper these days, though tickets to see him have always been a rip off
Homer
Guess they keep changing their mind! Any idea on ticket prices? Not sure, I got a free one from work. There was a free bar too and I saw Gregg Wallace!!!
mrtourette
I think the Earls Court ticket price would be slightly higher than the Roundhouse gigs, although the only current listed concerts for Earls Court are both about £40 (Avicii and Calvin Harris/Tiesto). I guess it depends on the band but as £37.50 is expensive for the Roundhouse I wouldn't be surprised if these tickets were a bit more than usual. home to you
Yeah I thought the pair of AM shows would be the last (of significance) there :S
evilduck
Arctic Monkeys at Earls Court was around £40 something. I hate the venue. The standing area is massive and flat so you cant see for shit anywhere, and its too echoey. Plus the bar and loo queues are always gigantic and its right out of the bloody way. Bah. Yeah now the excitement has died down I'll doubt I'll bother due to the venue, the problem is that when they do their proper tour it's not as if they'll be doing multiple nights at Brixton but will probably do another cavernous dump like the O2. evilduck
I'd rather have the O2 because at least the standing area is smaller, but it's the lesser of two evils.
jeffie
That was just announced last night, check back a couple of pages. Damn ^ Music and their up to the minute announcements. They said it had just been released at 7.30 this morning!

Yeah now the excitement has died down I'll doubt I'll bother due to the venue, the problem is that when they do their proper tour it's not as if they'll be doing multiple nights at Brixton but will probably do another cavernous dump like the O2. The O2 is a god send compared to Earls Court, its not a gig venue at all in reality....just a massive hall. At least the O2 is some what designed specifically for gigs. (Plus it's not all the way over in West London which is a major plus, I live 20 minutes away from The O2!). As far as London arena venues go, The O2 is top at that. The queues for Booze at Earls Court weren't to bad at Bloc Party, but you know there's serious problems with the venue when it has massive queues for the gents through out the night. And the Stage/standing area is just weird, it's closed in by a massive curtain...even Ally Pally feels more of actual gig venue. That said I am likely to go Edited November 21, 2013 by LondonTom

5co77ie
P.S Regine songs grate on me. I prefer it when she sticks to backing vocals. I'm not giving out on her vocals - I like them, just the songs seem weedy, as if they've gone: "Oh here's a girl song, sing that".She was really out at times at Glastonbury last time, even on backing vocals:http://www.efestivals.co.uk/votd/2013-11-
Zoo Music Girl
Sod it, I'm going to go for this Earls Court thing. That way if I don't get Glastonbury tickets or they don't play then I can still them again. Sod's law that if I don't attempt to get tickets for this then I'll be kicking myself if unlucky in the resale. I'm pleased it's Earls Court rather than the O2 as that's about 15 mins away from me! Never been to a gig there though - is it really that bad? Also, I've just spotted it's on O2 priority so there's a presale for O2 customers on Wednesday (of which I am one) *runs away before Scruffylovemonster makes a sarcastic comment*

stuartbert two hats
She was really out at times at Glastonbury last time, even on backing vocals:http://www.efestivals.co.uk/votd/2013-11-21 Sounded to me just like she was mixed funny on that video. Her mike was off at the start and then too loud, but her tuning sounded the same as ever, a bit shouty maybe, but in tune. Which bits do you think sounded really out? yellowsnow
I was hoping for more UK dates - Manchester preferably. If they don't announce more UK dates then I'll cross my fingers for Glastonbury.

Chief Scout
Arcade Fire tube @ArcadeFiretube 5m #EarlsCourt album pre-order presale: Monday, Nov 25, 9am. GA tickets are £44.45 w/ fees. Seated tickets: £39.50 w/ fees. I cant believe it will be cheaper to sit down though surely? Matt - Ed Banger Records
Nobody likes sitting down for gigs so I can imagine they would increase the standing price on the normal seated tickets.
