So I saw AF at the Gold Coast Big Day Out from the front row, and I have to say that you guys are in for a treat at Glasto.

The new songs sounded absolutely superb! And I have to say that I loved the inclusion of Month of May and Rococo, both of them were excellent live. I don't really like Haiti, so was glad that was dropped haha.

I won't give away the set or how the show progresses, but what I will say is the flow between songs was really great. Even if the setlist looked like it was a bit of a jumble, all the little outros and intros tied everything together nicely. And Here Comes the Nights Time is a pretty special moment!

re-introducing Ocean Of Noise is a weird one. that's quite a bizarre setlist overall. no Tunnels?! i'd be so annoyed if they didn't play that. and Wake Up third is weird as well (although Power Out as a closer would still be brilliant... it's just not Wake Up)

hopefully by the time Glasto comes around they will've had enough fucking about and we'll get a 'greatest hits' set of sorts

and i agree that the My Body Is A Cage intro thing is pointless. the end of that song is where it's at

all that said, interested to see what other oldies they re-introduce. maybe even (Antichrist Television Blues) or something from Funeral

Personally, I'm glad they are mixing it up and playing whatever they like.

They should play the whole of songs or not at all though. I'd imagine the lack of Intervention and the second half of My Body is a Cage would be due to not having an organ (not seen them this tour though, so not sure if this is accurate)

I am seeing them next week in Sydney, if they don't play Tunnels I will start a riot.

And i hope they dont play a INXS cover. I'm a Brit living here so have seen them seven times back home but they haven't toured Aus since the Neon Bible tour so I would imagine there'll be a fair few people a bit annoyed if they wasted a song on that (when they could've heard Tunnels).

Granted I saw them do a cover of The Smiths Still Ill in Manchester in '07 which was brilliant, but that was a bit different as they'd toured the UK about three times that year and a large majority who attended that gig would have liked the Smiths. Whereas I don't think as many in attendance will be as big INXS fans.

Ocean of Noise is a good addition though.

Win: "We're just starting to mix in old songs and figure out how they all play together" ... "We're playing a really different set tonight, just trying to throw as much chaos into it as possible, see what works"

i will 100% be expecting them to play more then 17 songs at earls court but will settle for 18 at glasto. i echo everyone when i say that TUNNELS CANNOT BE DROPPED and WAKE UP has to be the closer.

although, i can see it from their side, they are starting a gigantic world tour now and playing the same setlist every night in the same order would get fucking boring for them!

also surprised with how the set list lacks any reflektor songs at the start (bar the opener obviously)
