Campsite Space?

Hi. My daughter and her friends are going to Weston Park this year and have booked a coach from Blackpool. However, the coach doesn't leave until 10.30am and now she's panicking that there won't be a good camping spot for them and is trying to persuade me to drive her there grrrrrr... They plan to take 3 tents and don't want to be too far away, any advice please?

They would get a decent spot still, just probably not in the sites closest to the arena. To be honest the furthest sites are only a 15/20 minute walk from the arena.

I've never been to V Festival but i'm going this year and from what I have heard Red, Blue, Yellow,Orange will all fill up pretty quickly so by the time she gets there it's unlikely she will get a decent spot in either of those camps as they're the closest to the arena and most lively/wild. However, there's still Gold, Silver, Green, Grey so one or two of them should definitely have room for three tents next to each other. Grey is supposedly the furthest out been a 15 minute walk to the arena which isn't that far in my opinion. It all depends on what she wants, if she wants to stay up all night partying then she's best leaving early to get in Red, Blue, Orange etc if she likes to chill out after a long day dancing and get some sleep then Gold, Silver, Green, Gray will be what she's after and there will be plenty of space in those sites by the time she gets there.

Thanks for the fast replies. I think that's put our minds at ease. She'd rather not be too close - they want to get some sleep - but was afraid they'd get stuck by the loos or something. Panic over and now I'm not being begged to get up at 5.30am to take them Thanks again

They'll be fine finding a space when they get there, there's always enough space just means they may be slightly further from the arena as others have said!
